Jiang Libiao received a doctorate in sociology from the Department of Sociology, Renmin University of China in June 2013. From July 2013 to January 2019, he served as a lecturer and associate professor at the Department of Sociology, Huazhong Agricultural University; since January 2019, he has been an associate professor at the Department of Sociology of Xi'an Jiaotong University and a researcher at the Institute of Empirical Social Sciences. He has published more than 30 papers in CSSCI journals and a book of "Portraits of Sociologists: Based on the Classical Age (1830-1930)" (single author).
