Research Fields: Literature and Culture Studies, Ming- Qing dynasty Novel Theortical Studies, Literary Aesthetics Studies

Working experience:  

Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, School of Humanities and Social Science,Xi'an Jiaotong University.

D. from Nankai University, a postdoctoral fellow from Beijing Normal University and a visiting scholar from Oxford University, UK.

Studied international cutting-edge teaching concepts and methods at the University of California, Berkeley, USA.

Served as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Guangfu Town, Wuzhong District, Suzhou.

Director of the Center for Literary and Cultural Studies at Xi'an Jiaotong University.

Expert of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation.

Expert in the correspondence review of the dissertation of the Degree Center of the Ministry of Education of China and the evaluation of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of Shaanxi Province.

Research work:

Presided over and participated in more than 30 research projects including the National Social Science Foundation of China, the Humanities and Social Science Foundation of the Ministry of Education of China, the Foundation of the National Ethnic Committee of China, the Social Science Foundation of Shaanxi Province, the Social Science Foundation of Xi'an City and the Humanities and Social Science Foundation of Xi'an Jiaotong University.

Published nearly 40 papers in various academic journals and written more than 10 monographs and textbooks.

Won several provincial and municipal awards for outstanding achievements in scientific research, the second prize in the Shaanxi Provincial Micro-course Competition, the Excellence Award in the Shaanxi Undergraduate College Classroom Teaching Innovation Competition, and the first prize in the Xi'an Jiaotong University Micro-course Competition.
