Biography
Professor Sun received her B.A. in English Literature from Xi抋n International Studies University in 1989, her M.A. in Linguistics from Xi抋n Jiaotong University in 1999, and her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Oregon, the United States, in 2009. Dr. Sun was trained as a postdoctoral fellow at Xi抋n Jiaotong University from 2010-2012 and thereafter joined the faculty as Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at Xi抋n Jiaotong University. Over the years, Dr. Sun has published and taught in the areas of Sociology of Gender, Qualitative Research, Sociology of Education, Globalization and International Education, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Studies and Sociology of Culture:
