Dual Degree Program in Social Work by XJTU and Washington University in St. Louis

In December 2015, the Washington University in St. Louis and XJTU signed a joint training agreement on Dual Degree Program in Social Work. On the basis of existing collaboration and the goal of further enhancing social work and social policy education, the School of Humanities and Social Science of Xi'an Jiaotong University and the Brown School of Washington University in St. Louis have established a Dual Degree Program, namely, a Master of Sociology (or Master of Social Work) plus a Master of Social Policy. By integrating education in specific areas of social sciences and social policy analysis, assessment, management and leadership skills, this dual degree program is designated to develop a new generation of leaders in social policy. The program not only provides excellent educational opportunities for students, but also offers two master's degrees, which is beneficial to the personal development of students.
